In 1999, after a successful career with one of Canberra’s leading real estate agencies, John Buckley, and his wife Karolyn (nee Holland) formed Buckley and Holland Property Sales. After careful consideration Queanbeyan was chosen as the site for their new agency.

Queanbeyan embraced the new style of selling that was and still is offered by Buckley and Holland. Concepts such as “No sale No charge are still a revolutionary idea today despite the obvious benefits to a home owner. Finding a buyer without excessive and unwarranted marketing expenses means owners save money and avoids risk. Many hundreds of properties have been sold with the risk of opening homes to strangers.

Queanbeyan has gone from strength to strength over the last decade; John and Karolyn enjoy living in the city and raising their three children, who go to a local Queanbeyan school.
